Perched along the misty slopes of the Kurseong valley at elevations ranging from 4,500 to 5,200 feet, Giddapahar Tea Estate has been producing fine teas since 1881. Family-owned and managed by the Shaw family for generations, the estate is celebrated for its heritage  bushes and its signature, character-rich black teas. Aptly named “Eagle’s Mountain,” its cool climate and cloud-kissed terrain create ideal conditions for nuanced, expressive cups.

While its legacy is rooted in traditional Chinary cultivars, Giddapahar has, in recent years, introduced select clonal plantings, bringing a fresh layer of refinement and complexity to its repertoire.

This season’s limited-edition Spring clonal black tea reflects that evolution, an elegant cup that weaves together lifted florals, ripe fruit nuances, and a bright, lingering finish, capturing the vitality and charm of a Darjeeling spring.
